Top 5 Business Apps Performance in Lebanon, Q2 2023

In the second quarter of 2023, the top five business apps in Lebanon experienced diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Zoom Workplace saw fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at around $452 in the final week of June. Weekly downloads for the app ranged from a high of approximately 5K in early May to a low of about 2.5K in the last week of June. Active users exhibited a downward trend, starting at roughly 95K in late March and ending at about 51K by the end of June.

Alfa Telecom maintained a consistent download rate, with weekly downloads hovering between 1.6K and 2.5K. Active users showed minimal fluctuation, remaining steady around the 11K mark throughout the quarter.

Microsoft Teams experienced a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 1.9K in late March and dropping to around 927 by the end of June. Active users also saw a decrease, from about 17.9K in late March to approximately 9.8K in the final week of June.

LinkedIn: Network & Job Finder displayed stable weekly revenue, peaking at around $3.4K in the last week of June. Downloads remained relatively steady, averaging around 1.5K per week. Active users showed a slight increase mid-quarter, peaking at about 90.5K in early June before declining to roughly 80K by the end of the quarter.

WhatsApp Business led in terms of active user engagement, consistently maintaining over 830K active users weekly. Downloads were also strong, averaging around 12K per week. Active users peaked at approximately 879K in the last week of June.
